KLD-12 TFA is the TFA salt form of KLD-12, a 12-residue self-assembling peptide. It is used in tissue engineering and, when combined with SDF-1 self-assembled polypeptide, enhances chondrogenic differentiation of bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs). The hydrogel form can fill full-thickness osteochondral defects in situ and improve cartilage repair. In vivo, it promotes bone regeneration at the fracture site in a dose-dependent manner.

- Forms self-assembled polypeptide with SDF-1
- Improves survival of bone marrow stromal cells
- Promotes osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow stromal cells and cell migration via Wnt/β-catenin pathway
- Promotes bone regeneration at the fracture site
